  • Do not load in excess of its rated working load.

  • Do not try to repair bent or kinked frames.

How to put up scaffolding correctly


Scaffolding Setup Instructions


  • If there are no silver stack pins in your frames.
  • Attach one end of a cross brace at either connection point.
  • Make sure tits of spring rivets lock into position by aligning the holes in the stack pin with the holes in the vertical tubing.
  • The simplest way to erect higher levels is to assemble a platform at that level.
  • Secure footing materials in bottom of vertical tubing of initial set at this point.

  • The platform of a two-point suspension scaffold.
  • The use of repaired wire rope is prohibited.
  • Two workers are permitted to work at one time on suspension scaffold.
  • Ropes capable of supporting at least six times the rated load.
  • Each worker on a suspended scaffold must be protected by a personal fall arresting system.
  • Tiebacks must not be secured to standpipes and  other piping systems.
  • Tiebacks must be secured to a structurally sound anchorage on the building or structure.
  • A single tieback must be installed perpendicular to the face of the building or structure. 
  • Only those items specifically designed as counterweights must be used.
  • Counterweights shall be secured by mechanical means to the outrigger beams.
  • Independent lifelines should be protected from abrasion and wear.
